Riku Motor was founded in 1985 in Lahti Finland. Our aim is and has always been to offer the best service possible to motorcycle enthusiasts. We carry many brands of scooters & motorcycles and also provide maintenance and repair services.

	Riku, Owner Riku began working on bikes & scooters more than 30 years ago. Since then he has followed his passion and dedicated his time to the motorcycle community in Finland. He is currently involved in establishing a motorcycle museum in Lahti (www.mooottoripyoramuseo.fi). In his spare time (if any!) he heads to his cottage with his wife and children.
	Maarit, Client services Maarit is responsible for the smooth running of the office. She makes sure you have the best variety of bikes, accessories and apparel to choose from – even your quirkiest needs will be taken care of. 	Joni, Maintenance and repair Joni has all the knowledge and know-how to assist you properly. Whether your bike is scheduled for maintenance or you need advice of choosing the right gear Joni will get you and your “baby” safely back on the road.
	Niko Mostly takes care of Motoguzzi and Husqvarna, but also deals with Suzuki, Kawasaki ja BMW.
	Jamppa Services BMW, Kawasaki and Suzuki. He specializes in tuning up and fine tuning.
	Riku Services BMW, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Riku has a lot of knowledge on tuning up bikes.

We maintain a top quality service department, equipped with the latest tools and fully trained staff to provide our customers the best service possible. Our licensed repair services make sure your bike is serviced by experienced professionals. We only use OEM parts for the brands we service and are also able to source parts for other brands. We specialize in servicing most makes and models of Japanese and European motorcycles.

Full service maintenance

A motorcycle needs a strict routine of inspections and maintenance. We offer scheduled and annual maintenance services and also carry out crash repairs. Even the most unexpected situations will not faze us. In the case of a breakdown we can pick up your bike and transport it to our repair shop and when your bike is ready for the road we will deliver it to your doorstep.

We have one of the most efficient power dynamo meters in the market and are able to tune up your motorcycle to ensure maximum performance and capability. Come in and get your bike tuned to perfection!

We are also happy to help you with any issues you might have regarding motorcycle maintenance and upkeep.

Spare parts and accessories

Irrespective of the motorcycle make or model you can find and order all accessories such as brake pads, oils, spark plugs and batteries at our store. Contact us at sales@rikumotor.fi to place your order.

We take care of your bike – also during the winter

We can store your bike for the winter in a warm and secure place and we will have your bike ready for you in the spring. We offer a special package deal, which includes a clean up and check up in spring. We are happy to accommodate other requests you might have. It is worthwhile to book your space well in advance as there is limited space!

Classic and vintage bikes

History

Riku Motor is situated in a functionalistic building built in early 1930s. It served as a petrol station, Nobel Standard and later Esso, until 1995 when Riku Motor started operating at the site. The site is recognised as a historically and architecturally significant building in Finland. After careful renovation the building achieved its full potential and Riku Motor was able to purchase the building in 2005.

This fulfilled a lifelong dream for Riku. His passion for bikes and historic buildings hasn't faded and he is currently working on new projects. The motorcycle museum is due to open soon.
